Blossomfield Childcare provides 30 hours funded and unfunded childcare for children aged 3 years.  Applications for our Nursery provision can be found in our admissions tab, our 15 hours and 30 hours spaces are subject to availability, to discuss available sessions please contact Amy at childcare@blossomfield.solihull.sch.uk.

Childcare staff provide our children with learning opportunities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum working together with the school Nursery teachers. Throughout the session we encourage the children to learn through play  by giving them access to an enriching continuous provision and open ended environment with ample opportunity for discovery and open ended play. Our aim is to ensure holistic provision for our youngest children throughout their Nursery experience and ensure the children have a positive experience to start them on their school journey.

Our Nursery sessions are as follows: 

15 hours AM: 8:45am - 11:45am

15 hours PM 12:15pm -3:15pm

30 hours, Full time session: 8:45/9:15 - 3:15

Children attending our 30 hours provision attend 5 days per week with the aim of getting the children school ready and to ensure they do not miss any key experiences throughout our Nursery week. Before and after school provision can be booked in addition to your child's Nursery session with Treehouse Kids Club being open for breakfast club from 7:30am until 8:45am and after school club from 3:15pm until 6pm (shorter sessions are available).

When applying for a 30 hours provision you will be sent the below booking forms.  Our offer gives parents the choice of a free 30 hours place (9:15 start) or the option to pay a small fee each day for an additional half an hours care (8:45 start), this also includes a hot school meal at lunchtime.

Children attending any of the above sessions will be given a fruit snack in the morning and afternoon sessions.  If your child is accessing our 9:15am start, a lunchbox will need to be provided from home which adheres to our policies as a healthy eating school.  All other consumables and self care items e.g. spare clothing, nappies, wipes, nappy bags are to be provided by the parent or guardian.  This will be discussed in more detail once your child has been offered a Nursery place and has been assigned a key person.
