    Reception were really 'eggcited' to have some fluffy visitors in their classrooms today! We enjoyed learning about the lifecycle of a chicken and how to look after them.

    Thank you to everyone who made, drew and painted poppies for Remembrance Day. We have created a beautiful display in school. 
  • Pictures for Heroes

    Our key worker children painted some fantastic posters for NHS staff. They were sent with the Hampers for Heroes Care packages to the Labour Ward Team at Heartlands Hospital. 
  • Burns Night Celebrations

    We had a wonderful visit from Dr Rodger Patrick who played his bagpipes for all the children as they marched around the playground in celebration of Burns' Night. Dr Patrick also told us about where bagpipes originate from and how they work. Thank you Dr Patrick! 
  • Shirley Christmas Tree Festival

    Thank you to everyone who visited our Christmas tree at St James Church. All donations generated from the festival are being sent to The chaplaincy at Birmingham Childrens' Hospital and Solihull Action Through Advocacy.
